Overview

Attaching solar panels to the roof of your caravan or the deck of your boat may sound like a relatively straightforward procedure—if you are happy to drill holes. However, if you've just invested tens of thousands of dollars into your caravan or boat, drilling holes is likely the last thing you want to do.

This is where the ABS solar panel mounts come in. These heavy-duty ABS plastic mounts are designed to be stuck onto your caravan or boat using Sikaflex®, allowing you to screw your panel onto the mount without drilling. The mounts keep the solar panel elevated with adequate space underneath for cooling. Additionally, the curved design ensures proper wind deflection, even in high winds.

There are four different products in this range, which can be combined to suit your specific application.

ABS Solar Panel Side Mounts, 180mm (HS-8862)

• This pair of side mounts is intended to be attached to the long edge of taller solar panels, such as 80W and above.
• They provide extra mounting strength and improved wind deflection.
