1. Prepare the coaxial cable:

   • Strip back approximately 12mm of the coaxial cable.
   • Fold the braid/foil back over the plastic outer sheath.

2. Trim the insulation:

   • Remove about 8mm of foam insulation from the center conductor.

3. Attach the connector:

   • Screw the knurled connector onto the cable until the center conductor is visible out of the front of the connector.
   • The foam insulation will help centrally locate the conductor.

4. Ensure a proper fit:

   • If necessary, trim any surplus braid and foil beforehand to avoid the screw thread binding.
   • Note: Only a small amount of braid is required to achieve a sound electrical connection.

5. Finish the job neatly:

   • Trim excess braid from the knurled end.
   • For a polished finish, apply heatshrink over the entire assembly.
